Take Two is “very optimistic” about the Switch

Take Two is bringing two titles to the Switch this year through its 2K Sports brand: NBA 2K18 and WWE 2K18. And they have high hopes for those titles, as the company is very optimistic about the Switch and its sales.

During a recent earnings call with analysts and investors, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that Switch sales have been great and that they are “very optimistic around the platform, we’re very supportive of Nintendo”.

“We were excited six months ago and supportive. We’re excited now. We have NBA 2K and WWE 2K coming for Switch. The sales have been great. We expect sales to continue to be great, we’re very optimistic around the platform, we’re very supportive of Nintendo.”

He added that their belief in the success of the Switch has “been reinforced by the early and very strong results” that the Switch has managed to achieve.

Hopefully Take Two can actually support the Switch with some more games instead of just saying “we support Nintendo”.

The company’s only upcoming game (officially) is Red Dead Redemption 2, which so far isn’t coming to the Switch.
