Ronimo Games have finally announced a release date for their next Swords & Soldiers game, which is exclusive to the Wii U. Swords & Soldiers II builds on the concepts of the first game and provides a challenging 2D strategy game where players will once again follow the adventures of Viking chieftain Redbeard.
New factions for the game include a Demon Horde and the Persian Army. The game has a pretty meaty single-player campaign, but you can also go up against your friends in local multiplayer mode. Check out the trailer above to see the newly revealed Persian Army, which is new for the franchise.
Swords & Soldiers II will be available exclusively on the Wii U eShop on May 21.
