Switch sees 4X boost in sales in Japan thanks to Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey is a huge success and as expected, the Switch console has seen a spike in sales since the game was released last week.

And that’s nowhere as evident as in Japan, where Switch sales quadrupled last week thanks to the release of Mario Odyssey.

The Switch sold 126,000 units last week, one of the best weeks ever. And of course, the best selling game was Mario Odyssey, which sold an impressive 460,000 units (and 2 million worldwide in just 3 days).
