Today Nintendo announced that the Switch console has sold 17.79 million units as of March 31, making it one of the fastest selling consoles in history.
Not only that, the company revealed plans to ship 20 million Switch consoles during the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2019.
They also expect to ship 100 million games worldwide during that time.
And Nintendo didn’t forget about the console they also released last year. The company revealed that they’ve sold 5.28 million SNES Mini units, far above the sales numbers for the NES Mini released a year earlier.
