Switch sales remained strong in Japan last week

A fortnight ago the Switch had a record week, selling almost 90,000 units in the country. That was a one-time increase in supply to meet the insane demand that Splatoon 2 brought with it.

But the Switch hasn’t fallen off that much. Last week it sold 60,000 units in Japan, which is way above the usual 45,000 units it tends to sell per week.

Which means that it was the best selling console in the country, once again beating out the PS4.

Here are the full console sales for last week, with the week before in (parenthesis).
