Yesterday many people got upset that Nintendo was apparently resetting the game time counter on the Switch after a year. The Internet of course didn’t like this, but according to Nintendo, this wasn’t intentional.
The company issued a brief statement, saying:
“Some Nintendo Switch owners’ play activity information is displaying incorrectly. We are aware of the issue and we expect to have more information to share in the near future.”
Hopefully the playtimes that have been reset to zero can be reverted back to their original values.
