Switch once again dominates Japanese console sales

The Nintendo Switch once again dominated Japanese console sales last week, selling more than twice the number of consoles as the second best seller, the PS4.

The Switch sold 87,000 units last week, which is an increase from 61,000 units the week before. Nintendo increased shipments to Japan in the last three weeks to meet the insane demand that Splatoon 2 generated.

Oh, and by the way, Splatoon 2 has sold almost 1 million units in Japan to date.
