Last week’s Japanese sales numbers are in and Nintendo is once again dominating. The Switch sold 74,000 units and stayed at the top of the sales chart.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe debuted at the top spot, selling an impressive 280,000 units in less than a week. Two other Switch games were found in the top 10: Zelda: Breath of the Wild with 393,000 total sales, and 1-2 Switch, with 181,000 in total sales.
The Switch console sold over three times as many units last week as the number 2 on the spot, the PS4, which barely sold 20,000 units in Japan (compared to 74,000 Switch units).
