Nintendo forgets to edit latest Switch ad, reveals dev kit menu

Nintendo Portugal’s latest ad for the Nintendo Switch was on YouTube for a short while before the company removed it. Why was it removed? Well, here’s what the Switch looked like in the ad:

In case you weren’t aware, that’s not what ads for the Nintendo Switch are supposed to show. We’re supposed to see images of simulated gameplay overlayed on the device through some post-production process. Instead, something must have happened, and before anyone could catch it, they uploaded an un-edited video.

The menu reveals that developers have access to 64 GB of internal storage on their Switch, rather than the 32 GB that will be offered in the retail version next month. We also see auto screen brightness, some display settings, and a battery percentage.

At least the ad makes 1-2-Switch look like a great, suggestive party game.
