Mimicking their playable demos at Best Buy during the week of E3 last year, Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. will be playable at hundreds of Best Buy locations across the country during the week of E3. This new promotion is called the Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest and will take place from June 11 4pm – 9 pm and June 14 from 12pm to 5pm. The first 70 people who pre-order either Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS from a participating location will receive a Super Smash Bros. golden coin. Pre-orders will also receive a $5 Best Buy Reward Zone at the game’s launch.
The Smash-Fest event is happening in 37 states across America, so be sure and check Best Buy’s website to find a location near you. You’ll need to bring your best game, since you’ll be playing against three other Smash fans in the four person demo that will be available.
Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS is scheduled to be released this summer, while the Wii U version of the game will be coming in the winter.
