We’ve known for a while now that Nintendo plans to branch out into amusement parks in partnership with Universal Studios, as construction on Super Nintendo World in Japan has already begun. Now a new patent filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office has hinted that one of the attractions will be based on Mario Kart.

This is just a general overview of some of the events that will be available at the park, but the kart racing is interesting. Kart racing is a hugely popular hobby here in America, so it’s not hard to imagine a Mario Kart-themed attraction doing really well when this thing kicks off here.
