Love him or hate him, Tingle is probably the most contentious character from the Legend of Zelda franchise. Now it looks like you may be able to take control of the forest fairy obsessed green man in Super Mario Maker as part of the several different costumes the game has available. A screenshot taken from the Miiverse community for Super Mario Maker seems to showcase an 8-bit version of Tingle happily traipsing around a Mario level.
Remember that more than 99 different amiibo costumes are supported in Super Mario Maker, with all of them able to be unlocked doing the 100 Mario challenge. This is more costumes than any previous game with similar support, as Yoshi’s Woolly World only has about 45 costumes to unlock within it.
Super Mario Maker releases worldwide on September 11.
