As announced by the Nintendo Direct last week, Super Mario Maker is getting a pretty hefty update today. The update brings several new items and themes to the game, which you can see in the video above. If you haven’t played Super Mario Maker in a while, the items being added in this update now make it possible to create boss levels, as keys, key doors, pink coins and more have been added.
You can also hide keys inside enemies, so you can make enemies mandatory to progress through a level. This opens a world of creation options for Super Mario Maker level creators and might be a good time to hop back in the game if you were frustrated with the lack of items available in the game at launch.
