During the Game Awards, Nintendo legends Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma showcased the brand new Zelda game for the Wii U. The Zelda game will be released next year, but Miyamoto let it slip that there will be Starfox game released as well on the Wii U next year. And that it will be released before the new Zelda.

Miyamoto and Aonuma talk about the new Zelda for about 3 minutes, then Aonuma asks Miyamoto a question: “By the way, My. Miyamoto, how about your Starfox title?” And Miyamoto siad:

“What? Starfox? You’re asking me that now? No worries about Starfox. Starfox will arrive before The Legend Of Zelda next year. The way you use the GamePad [in Starfox] is starting to feel really good”.

And Aonuma revealed another bit of news: Zelda Majora’s Mask will be coming to the 3DS next year as well. Miyamoto added “We made a number of adjustments in Majora’s Mask, and it now feels pretty good on 3DS.”

So far we have two big Wii U games confirmed for 2015: Starfox and Zelda. And since Starfox will be coming first, we expect it to be released during the Summer, while Zelda is released during the Fall (just like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros this year).
