Wow, the Nintendo direct hasn’t even started yet, but news is pouring out! TIME magazine has leaked a private interview with Shigeru Miyamoto in which he confirms working on Starfox and two other titles for the Wii U.
While we’ll have to wait for the Nintendo Direct for more specific details, the interview has quite a bit of information on the other games, as well as starfox. TIME’s site is a bit funky right now, and not displaying the article properly. If you want to read the whole thing, a redditor named xXdArKFlaMEmaStERXx has kindly posted it all to a pastebin, which you can find here.
The two new games besides starfox are called Project Giant Robot and Project Guard, and both focus on using the gamepad in new ways. Sounds like Project Giant Robot includes motion controls and a viewfinder, while Project Guard has you jumping between different security cameras to stop enemies.
This year’s E3 Nintendo direct is already shaping up to be one to remember. Tune in to the Nintendo Direct at 9 PDT (12 EST) to see the full reveal of these games! (Watch it on WiiUDaily with this link!)
