Check out Splatoon 2’s latest map, Starfish Mainstage

Over the weekend the folks behind the Squid Research Lab blog showcased a new arena for Splatoon 2 based on a BMX arena called Humpback Pump Track. This new area appears to be a giant amphitheater that holds a variety of concerts and other venues.

The blurb with the new pictures says the stage is considered a bit of a holy site for devotees of the rock band Squid Squad, who is responsible for a lot of the music that’s featured in the game.

It certainly looks interesting enough to play on and hopefully Nintendo will host another Global Testfire event so we can check out some of these new stages before the game launches this summer. Did you play the Global Testfire in March? Do you plan on getting the game when it launches? Let us know in the comments.
