Star Fox Zero has been somewhat of a disappointment on the Wii U, with low sales and low review scores. But for Star Fox fans, it’s still a solid pickup (especially when on sale).

Those who haven’t tried the game yet now have a shot: Nintendo has released a new Star Fox Zero demo on the Wii U eShop. And for good measure, they’ve released a new demo of Star Fox Guard, the “tower defense” game based on the Star Fox Universe. The two games were bundled together during the launch of Star Fox Zero.

Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins + Training includes an animated short film, and a training mission. The demo weighs in at 1,677 MB.

Star Fox Guard Special Demo includes a few missions from the main game, and any save games from the demo will carry over to the full game, if you chose to purchase it. The demo weighs in at 1,383 MB.
