Star Fox 64 is one of the best Star Fox games ever made, some would argue that it’s the best. Which is probably why Nintendo has released the game on several platforms, including the Wii and Wii U, and will most likely release it on the Switch as well (we can only hope!).
A new video from the guys over at Nintendo World Report puts the original N64 version side by side with the Wii and Wii U. And as the video shows, the Wii and Wii U version definitely look nicer and run better.
In fact, the Wii U version runs so much better with faster frame rates, that the actual gameplay pulls ahead of the two other versions, despite the game being on rails.
