Splatoon getting new Rainmaker ranked battle mode

Today both Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe teased a new ranked battle mode that’s launching at 7pm PST for Splatoon. This mode was originally teased in the Splatoon Direct that aired on May 7, before the game launched. Rainmaker mode is a lot like capture the flag, where players will have to obtain the Rainmaker weapon and take it to the other team’s base.
