A lot of crazy wild things come out of Japan, but that usually has nothing on what happens inside the country. Splatoon is a big hit over there, so much so that retail boutiques are popping up for the holidays to market lots of different Splatoon merchandise. There’s Inkling plushies, t-shirts, and what looks like candy branded with Splatoon everywhere.
It’s pretty unlikely that we’ll see any of this in the United States or elsewhere in the world, which is a bummer for those who like to stay fresh in the real world.
