So far Nintendo has showcased the shops from Splatoon to sell weapons, headgear and clothing. Now this week, we get a look at the footwear shop and its shrimpy proprietor, who has managed to cover all of his feet in dope kicks, too. Shrimps Shoes is the store players will interact with in order to get a set of shoes that complete their outfit. According to translations of the tweets that accompanied the revealed shop and character artwork, the character is a tiger prawn shrimp named Rob.
Rob wears a cripsy fried jacket and hat to accompany his many pairs of shoes, but according to his short biography, the jacket is merely a fashion statement and he’s never been actually cooked.
Splatoon will be hitting the Wii U this May.
