Nintendo has been excellent at finding and fixing exploits and glitches on the maps released in Splatoon and the latest 2.2.0 update for the game seems to have fixed one of the most notorious out of map glitches in the game.
Players used to be able to jump just right between the iron fencing of the upper levels of the map to land on a palm tree outside the map’s bounds. From there, unscrupulous players could blast Inklings while remaining unreachable and hidden. Now, Nintendo has removed the ability to land on that palm tree at all, resulting in the Inkling’s instant death should it be tried.
