Splatoon 2 supports LAN play with up to 8 players

Nintendo has revealed an awesome Splatoon 2 feature: the game will support up to 8 players via LAN without the need of an Internet connection.

In addition to connecting 8 players wirelessly, the game also support wired LAN play with up to 8 players while docked, which is great news for those wanting to create Splatoon 2 tournaments.

We previously heard a rumor that some Switch games support up to 8 players using one game cartridge, something that could make multiplayer on the go so much easier.
