Last week announced a Global Testfire event for Splatoon 2 this weekend at specific times, so you’ll need to know the schedule if you want to participate in the event. The Testfire will only be available for an hour on each of the three days so Nintendo can stress test having tons of people playing at one time.

Event Info
Turf mode will be the only playable mode available during this event. That’s a three minute match where both teams try to cover as much territory as possible in their color ink. We do know that one new weapon will be making its appearance in this test that wasn’t featured in the original game. Here’s a peek at the Japanese trailers released.
Weapons included are the Splattershot, Splatroller, Splat Charger, and Splat Dualies. While some of these are weapons that appeared in the original game, they have new features. Specifically, the Splat Roller can now be shaken while in the air, which lets you throw ink forward nicely.
