Splatoon 2 gets first patch

Well that didn’t take long: Splatoon 2 has just gotten a new patch, less than a week after release. Update 1.1.2 fixes some issues with the SplatNet Gear Shop, and fixed an issue with displaying ranking and previous matches.

The bigger change is to the weapons. Several weapons have been tweaked — the number of points needed to fill the special gauge have changed for the following weapons, according to Nintendo:

Weapon Before ⇒ After
Splat Dualies 180⇒170
Hero Dualie Replicas 180⇒170
Enperry Splat Dualies 180⇒170
Tentatek Splattershot 190⇒210
N-ZAP ’85 180⇒200
.96 Gal 180⇒210
Slosher 180⇒190
Hero Slosher Replica 180⇒190
Tri-Slosher 180⇒210
Mini Splatling 180⇒190

The Splatoon 2 update is available now to all Switch players.
