An up close look at the Inkling amiibo for Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 is slated to release on Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 21st and along with it comes a new series of amiibo. The Japanese Splatoon 2 Twitter account has released some gorgeous new up close pictures of the detail you can find on the Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and the Squid Form amiibo that will be joining the game in stores.

I like that the new squid form amiibo is a stunning purple, though the green of the first amiibo was really nice, too. I also like the Inklings of the second series more, I think there’s a lot more detail here than we saw with the first two amiibo, which look more like Miis to me. What do you think?
