Last week Nintendo announced that there will be three new Splatoon 2 amiibos released alongside the game. However, if you own the previous Amiibo from Splatoon 1, you’ll be able to use them in the sequel as well.
Nintendo has confirmed (via the official Japanese Splatoon Twitter) that owners of the old Splatoon amiibo figures, such as Inkling girl and boy, will be able to unlock special gear in Splatoon 2.
They didn’t reveal what exactly the old Amiibo figures will unlock.
Nintendo will release three new Splatoon 2 amiibo this Summer alongside the game. So far they have released 7 amiibo figures for the old Splatoon game.
Splatoon 2 launches on the Switch on July 21st.

新amiibo同様、コーディネートを記憶して、一緒に写真を撮ることができる。
