Today, there was a leak from Google’s code repository, which allowed us to get a sneak peak of the details involving Samsung’s forray into the Chrome OS netbook scene. Samsung’s Alex, as its being called, will feature a dual-core 1.5Ghz Intel Atom processor and complimentary 2GB of RAM. The screen resolution will be 1280×800 and WiFi, ethernet port, webcam and bluetooth will come standard as well. Also on board is bluetooth and support for 3G cellular so get those SIM cards ready.
Not much else is known about the mysterious netbook its definitely an upgrade from the current CR-48’s Google was handing out so graciously last year. Expect more information as geeks around the globe make their way to their motherland this May for Google I/O 2011.
