Sonic Lost World Deadly Six Edition DLC seems broken for Canadians

For fans of Sonic in Canada, the release of the Sonic Lost World Deadly Six Edition has been something of a frustrating experience. According to one Wii U Daily reader, when he got home and tried to enter the DLC code to redeem those extra levels, the eShop told him the code was unrecognized. It looks like this issue isn’t exclusive to just a few people, as the whole region of Canada is affected.

Sonic Stadium reports that the issue has affected Canadians because American DLC codes were sold in the region instead of the appropriate regional codes. Sega is aware of the issue however, as Sega representative RubyEclipse left the following message:

Hi guys,

Thanks for your patience – we’re investigating this now. 🙂

If you’re having the issue and haven’t already, please do send in a ticket to Customer Support so we have you in our records.

If you live in Canada, did you have any problems redeeming your DLC? If you do plan on buying the Deadly Six Edition and live in the affected region, be aware that Sega is currently working on the issue.

Thanks Am Real!
