Today’s Super Smash Bros. pic of the day focuses on the multitude of color variations for characters. Developer Masahiro Sakurai has posted the above screenshot with two others on Miiverse highlighting how many different color combinations there are for Samus’ suit. There’s also a picture of the Villager in several different shirts, and Sakurai makes mention that you can select the girl Villager in the same way as the female and male Wii Fit Trainers are available.
Pic of the day. Until now, you were only able to choose from four, or sometimes five or six colors for each character. This time, though, all characters have eight colors to choose from! The first four color schemes for Samus are based off her Varia Suit, Fusion Suit, Gravity Suit from Super Metroid, and the Dark Suit.
The Villagers each have different shirts and different hair styles, making them pretty unique. What do you think of the color variations?
