According to Target, the Shovel Knight Amiibo will be released on January 8th, 2016 in North America. Shovel Knight is the very first third-party Amiibo to be released, and will hit the stores in Europe on November 27th. It looks like North American gamers will have to wait six or so weeks more to get it. Target lists the MSRP at $12.99.
In related news, it appears that the Shulk, Greninja, Luracion Amiibos are no longer Toys R Us and GameStop exclusive, as they’ve shown up in best Buy’s inventory system.
This has been a pretty good indicator in the past that items will be coming to Best Buy. The new Amiibos have the following SKU (stock keeping unit) numbers at Best Buy: Greninja: 4567300, Lucario: 4566803, Shulk: 4567402.
