Jools Watsham, the developer behind Mutant Mudds recently made an announcement on Twitter about revealing his (new?) FPS for the 3DS.
We are finalizing a playable demo of our (new?) FPS on 3DS. It’s pretty stellar. Hoping it’ll be part of a press event at the end of Jan. 🙂
Later on somebody left Jools a comment asking wether it would be a Nintendo press event or not to which he replied:
Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, yes, definitely interesting! 🙂
So its still a little inconspicuous as to wether or not Nintendo will be holding a press event but it would definitely be a great way to give us a taste of what more is to come later on this year.
A noteworthy mention for those interested in this upcoming FPS for the 3DS, on the same Twitter post someone also expressed why they wanted to see the ‘Turok’ styled controls in the game (i.e. circle pad aiming, face buttons movement)
that’d free up dpad for item/weapon selection and shoulder buttons for using or jumping/shooting… as long as aiming/turning is analogue, running/strafing works just as well as digital input, imo.
To which Jools replied ‘We’ve got your covered.’
