According to rumors on Twitter, Nintendo will host a new and much bigger Nintendo Direct in mid-February, a couple of weeks from now.
The rumors also suggest that this Direct will be about Nintendo Switch online features and a more detailed reveal of Nintendo’s paid and free online plans.
For now, we’ll chalk this up as a “rumor” and wait for more official / reputable sources.
But it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for Nintendo to host another Direct shortly after the “mini direct” earlier this month.

To be clear.
YES a big Nintendo Direct was planned for January,but because of the 5.0 update and online features,It was delayed to Mid-February,probably between 12-15.
Thats why we got a Mini-Direct on January.
