Earlier this week we reported on several new Pokemon confirmed for Pokken Tournament, including Suicune, Pikachu and Gardevoir. With Bandai Namco beginning localization tests on the game in Japan, we’ve learned even more about the game, including the fact that Frogadier and Eevee will be in the game as support characters. Frogadier has a water pulse to aid players in tight spots, while Eevee can boost a players attack power and restore health.

Some of the most recent screenshots show that the game will have a water stage fighting ring, with Lugia in the background. In addition, the game will support alternative color schemes for the Pokemon as well. The game is scheduled to hit arcades in Japan later this year, so expect more information about it as it gets closer to release.
