Pokken Tournament DX launches on Switch, day-one update released

Pokken Tournament DX officially launches on the Switch today. The game is a re-release of the Wii U version from 2016, which itself was based on the arcade game released in 2015.

The Switch version features some new content, most notably are the five new fighters: Decidueye, Croagunk, Empoleon, Darkrai, and Scizor. The game also supports the Pokken Tournament controller on the Switch.

Nintendo has also released a small day-one update for the game. But as usual, the company is incredibly vague on what the patch does, here are the complete “patch notes”:

“Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.”
