Nintendo has officially confirmed some of the amiibo features of the upcoming Pokken Tournament, a cross-over game first released in Japanese arcades that is finally making its way to home consoles worldwide on March 18.

The official site mentions the Shadow Mewtwo card that will come with all first-edition copies of the game. Players can scan the card with the Wii U GamePad in order to unlock Shadow Mewtwo instantly, or you can complete the set of in-game challenges that unlock him.

Additionally, all amiibo accessories will be compatible with the game, unlocking in-game items to be used. No further details were given about which in-game items will be unlocked and usable, but it’s nice to see another game aside from Super Smash Bros. that utilizes all of the amiibo to their fullest extent.
