During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo of America representative Bill Trinen confirmed that Pikmin 3 will be getting another round of DLC for the game. Unlike the previous two releases, this DLC release will feature all new stages, such as beaches and a house during a party.
This DLC is slated to include four treasure stages and four battle stages. Captain Olimar returns as a playable character for the first time as well. In order to play the DLC Pikmin 3 owners will need to download a software update for the title, but even if you don’t plan on purchasing the full DLC pack, Nintendo is offering one treasure hunt and one battle enemies level for a total of two levels for free.
