Super Mario Maker has gotten a lot of flak from critics for its open design that leads to some less than creative levels, but it has also paved the way for speedrun nightmares, if that’s your thing. PangaeaPanga has uploaded several nearly impossible levels over the course of the two months the game has been available, but his latest took him more than 20,000 attempts to beat.

In fact, creating the level only took Panga around 11 hours, but he needed a further 39 hours in order to complete it himself so it could be uploaded to Course World. The video below is the final attempt Panga made and contains the victory, with a special message at the end.

YATTA!

Yatta is a Japanese word that roughly translates to “I did it!” and is an homage to a Japanese streamer who broke down in tears after beating Panga’s last level we featured, P-Break.

If you want to try out this new level for yourself, here’s the CourseID you brave soul.
