Nintendo’s E3 presentation is now just 25 minutes

Yesterday we reported that Nintendo had confirmed that its E3 presentation, called Nintendo Spotlight, would only be 30 minutes, which disappointed many fans.

Now it appears that it will only be 25 minutes long, according to Nintendo’s Japanese info page on the event. Maybe the 30 minutes number includes whatever intro Nintendo has prepared.

Nintendo has kept the last few E3 presentation short at about 45 minutes. But this year it’s a lot shorter and there is concern that they might not reveal as many games as people hope.

We’ve heard before that the company might be focusing its presentation on Switch games, while 3DS and other announcements will be revealed during the following Treehouse event.

We’ll have to wait and see. The Nintendo Spotlight will be live on June 13, 2017 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET.
