As we move into the holiday season, we still don’t have concrete release dates for the Amiibo figures, or Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. An official Nintendo UK store today confirmed the £10.99 price tag for Amiibo figures in the UK, but also listed them as being released in the November 2014 launch window. No other retailer has put a November date on these figures.
If the launch window given by the Nintendo UK store is true, that could potentially mean that we’ll be seeing Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U in November as well, since the figures won’t go on sale without the game they’re exclusively being made for at this point. (Most of the figures characters in series one are not available in Mario Kart 8.)
