With today’s announcement that the Switch has become the fastest-selling console in US history, Nintendo also had some good news for all those who purchased a Switch: we can expect more support from big publishers.
“Fans can also expect continued support from major publishers such as EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, SEGA, Take 2 and Bethesda, plus a growing catalog of quality content from indie developers.” Nintendo said in a statement.
Some of the publishers mentioned have supported the Switch quite well: Bethesda has released Skyrim and Doom, and will be releasing Wolfenstein 2 on the Switch this year.
As for EA, the company took a step back after FIFA 18 wasn’t a success on the Switch. However, the publisher will release their indie platformer Fe on the Switch next month.
