Nintendo is seeking to expand its catalogue of games, after former president Satoru Iwata announced earlier this year that the company will be partnering with mobile firm DeNA to bring some of its core franchises to the mobile world. Now it looks like Nintendo of America is expanding that vision, as they’ve posted a job listing for a mobile game developer at their headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
The listing calls for some pretty hefty experience, but one of the interesting points for the requirements is that applicants must be extremely familiar with iOS and Android SDKs. No other platforms are mentioned directly, but it will be interesting to see what kind of mobile products Nintendo of America’s team will work on.
