Today Nintendo of America announced that there will be a Treehouse presentation on Twitch on September 12. This is the same date that Nintendo of Japan will be streaming live gameplay of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS on NicoNico. The Treehouse event will be streamed on Twitch and will be showcasing several upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games, including Super Smash Bros.

Currently there’s no time set for the stream to start, but Nintendo is saying the stream will last for eight hours, so it seems like the kind of stream that you’ll be able to tune into at various points in the day to see what’s going on with the team.
