A new rumor is circulating that suggests Nintendo could be debuting the Nintendo NX as early as March of this year. The rumor is from Nomura Securities, who asserts that the NX could be shown as early as March of this year and released at the end of 2016, around November.
Nintendo’s president Tatsumi Kimishima has been very quiet about the NX, but in a recent interview he did confirm that Nintendo is looking to provide a different experience with the NX from what’s available with the Wii U and the 3DS. Industry analysts aren’t as hopeful as these rumors however, as Michael Pachter has stated that he doesn’t believe the Nintendo NX will launch at any point this year.
