Nintendo’s financial earnings were earlier today and ahead of that release, Nintendo sent out a big press release discussing some of the upcoming information about its new console the NX and the game The Legend of Zelda. While The Legend of Zelda was confirmed to be in development for both the NX and the Wii U, the most interesting piece of news is that the Nintendo NX will launch in March of 2017.

The press release also mentions that the Nintendo NX will not make an appearance at this year’s upcoming E3, so don’t expect anything new from Nintendo. They’ll only be showcasing The Legend of Zelda for Wii U.

Nintendo previously announced that it would release more information about its next system, code-named NX, this year. As the first announcement of any NX information, Nintendo confirmed that NX is scheduled to launch in March 2017. NX will not make an appearance at the upcoming E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles in June and will be unveiled later this year.

What do you think about this approach? We still don’t know anything about the NX, but we now know we’ll have our hands on it March of next year.
