The Nintendo Minute is a webseries where hosts Kit and Krysta sit down with various game developers and play through their game, discussing some of the new features and what players can expect. This week the team sits down with Skylanders executive producer Jeff Poffenbarger in order to have a look at Skylanders Trap Team.
Trap Team is the fourth installment of games in the Skylanders series and features a new Portal of Power with a speaker included to augment the new Skylanders trap abilities, which allows them to trap villains from within the game, saving them to be used as playable characters later. The concept is very similar to Pokemon. Each villain can be trapped by traps of a specific element, similar to how certain zones in the game can only be accessed by having a Skylander of that element in your collection.
