Mario Kart 8 Deluxe officially launches today on the Switch, and the racing game should be a big success for Nintendo. That’s according to Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, who told investors that pre-orders for the game were “very promising”.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a re-release of the Wii U version, with some extra content and features. So far reviews of the game have been very promising.

The game includes all of the previously released DLC for the Wii U version, as well as new content such as the Battle Mode and new playable characters.
