Nintendo Land gets price cut from $60 to $30

Nintendo has cut the Wii U launch title Nintendo Land in half, from $60 to just $30 bucks. Nintendo Land was the very first Wii U game to launch, since it was bundled with the Wii U Deluxe set. Nintendo recently booted Nintendo Land from the Deluxe bundle, replacing it with New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U.

Nintendo Land was is to the Wii U what Wii Sports was to the original Wii. It features a bunch if mini game designed to showcase the system and its new features (such as the GamePad).

The price cut is a permanent cut from Nintendo and is valid for North America only for now. Nintendo will likely cut the price in Europe and Japan soon. The price cut is also in effect on the Wii U eShop, where the game can be downloaded for $30 right now.
