Nintendo has released its Q3 financials for the year and as of December 31, 2015, the Wii U has managed to sell 12.6 million units globally. It’s still far below the Xbox One at 19 million and the PlayStation 4 at 35.9 million, but given the catalogue and lack of third-party support that’s pretty decent for Nintendo’s console.

According to the report, amiibo have been doing exceptionally well in all regions as well. More than 20.5 million amiibo figures have been sold, while 21.5 million amiibo cards have been sold. We don’t have any comparison numbers from Q2 to look at for amiibo, but Nintendo seems pleased with their performance in this report.
