Nintendo eShop: Human Resource Machine & Octodad

eshop-banner-mobile

After a pretty light week for the Wii U last week, we’re finally seeing some interesting games pop up on the Wii U eShop. This week we have Human Resource Machine, a puzzler from the same team that brought you World of Goo and Little Inferno. Octodad is also releasing this week, which features zany physics that you have to manipulate to solve mundane problems like putting a tie on yourself. Either way, both of those should be checked out if you like puzzle games.

Tri Force Heroes is also getting a demo on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, probably because it hasn’t done too well with critics. Similar to Four Swords in playstyle except there are three of you and you can play online, the game’s demo will give you a taste of the gameplay so you can decide if you want to throw down the cash. From reviews, it seems as if the game is a blast to play so long as you do play online instead of trying to control all three Links by yourself.

Human Resource Machine – The newest game from the designer of the World of Goo game and the team behind the Little Inferno game, Human Resource Machine is a puzzle game for nerds! In each level, your boss gives you a job and you must automate it by programming your little office worker. Don’t worry if you’ve never programmed before – everyone can have fun with this game.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch – Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a game about destruction, deception and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about his life.
